Alex Schaffert is the Strategic Partnerships Lead at Next Chapter Podcasts, where she oversees collaborations with nonprofit organizations and mission-driven partners. She brings deep expertise in partnership development, business planning, and audience engagement.

She previously served as Chief Operating Officer at APM Studios and SVP of Strategic Planning at LAist, helping expand national audiences, grow distribution pathways for local journalism, and launch new storytelling platforms. In addition to her work with Next Chapter, Alex leads the Family Business Program and external initiatives at Loyola Marymount University, supporting entrepreneurship and community building. She and her family live in Los Angeles.
