Byron C. Hunter is an award-winning television producer, documentary filmmaker, and podcast producer who has written and produced nearly 100 hours of television programming, including more than a dozen documentaries for television and streaming over the last 20 years. Byron's work has been featured on networks including ABC, NBC, FOX, ESPN, BET and DirecTV.

As a podcast writer and producer, Byron has written and produced five (5) successful podcast series for Next Chapter Podcasts since 2020, including the "Our New South" podcast, winner of the 2024 Gold Anthem Award for Excellence in Podcasting, as well as the 2024 Signal Silver Award for podcast achievement in Public Service and Activism.
