GABRIELA SAKER is a Cuban-born actress based in New York and Puerto Rico. She holds an MFA in Acting from The Juilliard School and is a Princess Grace Award winner in Theater. Recent credits include her Off-Broadway turns in The Desire of the Astronaut (Pregones/PRTT) and Zoetrope (Caborca/Abrons Arts Center), her "soulful," "captivating" portrayal of Viola in Twelfth Night at the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, and her regional theatre performances in Anna in the Tropics (Barrington Stage Company) and Blanco temblor (Teatro Público/Los Angeles Theatre Center). She has also collaborated with Roundabout Theatre Company, Manhattan Theatre Club, Huntington Theatre, Notch Theatre Company, and The Acting Company, and has performed internationally in Rwanda and Spain. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Puerto Rican theatre company Teatro Público and a proud graduate of the University of Puerto Rico.
