Pete Musto

Pete Musto is an award-winning writer, producer, editor, educator and performer who uses abundant creativity, strong leadership skills and relentless tenacity to approach storytelling, project management and creative production direction in a unique and efficient, yet still detailed-oriented way. 

For Next Chapter Podcasts, he's developed and acted as showrunner for original concepts such as the triple gold Signal award-winning show Beef with Bridget Todd, Indecent with Kiki Andersen, and The 500 with Josh Adam Meyers. And he's served as the production lead for How I Got Greenlit and the Ambie-winning show kids news show The Ten News. 
Based in Washington, DC, he’s also been performing stand-up, sketch and improv comedy for over a decade at the DC Improv, DC Comedy Loft, Falls Church's State Theater, Richmond's Funnybone, Virginia Beach's Cozzy's, Atlanta's Laughing Skull, Austin's Coldtowne Theater, Caveat in Manhattan, the Brooklyn Comedy Collective and Cobra Club in Brooklyn, NY, The Glendale Room in Glendale, CA, San Diego's MadHouse, Pittsburgh’s Unplanned Comedy Warehouse, Cleveland’s Imposters Theater and Portland, OR's Helium Comedy Club. He's opened for Laurie Kilmartin, Red Richardson, Daniel Van Kirk, Carmen Lagala, Matthew Broussard, Bethany Van Delft and Luke Null. And as part of the comedy troupe The Midnight Gardeners League, which he co-found in 2017, Pete's performed on the Portland Maine Comedy Festival (2018), DC’s Laugh Index Theater Festival (2019), NYC SketchFest (2019), the Seattle Sketch Fest (2020), Roanoke Comedy Festival (2021), Red Eye Comedy Fest in Morgantown, WV (2022) and Akron, Ohio’s Rubber City Comedy Festival (2022).
